Furies returns to the Rising Fest stage for the second time, having first appeared at RF6 in 2017. Since then, the band has undergone a lineup change and, of course, has added a wealth of new material to its arsenal.

Since the release of Fortune’s Gate in 2020, no fewer than five singles have showcased the band’s steady rise and growing momentum.

The rhythm section, driven by Zaza behind the drums, and the precise, unwavering vocals of Cheyenne form the band’s powerful female core. They are backed by two guitars and a bass that bring a welcome touch of freshness to this world of brute force… or perhaps it’s the other way around.

The French-language vocals featured on the latest single, Cannibale, add yet another string to Furies’ bow and demonstrate the band’s willingness to keep evolving without losing its identity.

Needless to say, the next album is eagerly awaited… and by cat’s whiskers, it had better be worth the wait!
